75 countries in 75 months, Living life on your own terms, being bold!

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” -Mark Twain

I was doing some web surfing last night and stumbled upon this family’s plan for the next 6 + years. The Meretniemi family, a young couple and their 3 kids from Finland, are planning on circumnavigating the world on a sailboat for the next 75 months. They plan to visit 75 countries and their adventure is planned to start by mid 2016.

What I love about their plan is the spirit of adventurethinking outside the box and really living life under their own terms. Shouldn’t we all look at life from a similar perspective where we actually follow our dreams? And from a business perspective, shouldn’t we all work every day towards accumulating the means that will permit us to fulfill our dreams and not just making it through retirement?

My hat is off to both these parents. Congratulations and Godspeed!

Words by Bryan Dyson, Former Coca Cola´s CEO

Imagine life as a game in which you are juggling some five balls in the air. They are Work, Family, Health, Friends and Spirit and you´re keeping all of these in the air.

You will soon understand that work is a rubber ball. If you drop it, it will bounce back. But the other four Balls – Family, Health, Friends and Spirit – are made of glass. If you drop one of these; they will be irrevocably scuffed, marked, nicked, damaged or even shattered. They will never be the same. You must understand that and strive for it.

Work efficiently during office hours and leave on time. Give the required time to your family, friends & have proper rest.

Value has a value only if its value is valued
